A life shaped by boxing.

Coach Walu, Latif Walugembe, is an international boxing coach and talent developer from Uganda, now based in Munich.

For more than two decades, he has worked across youth development, national teams, professional boxing and international competition.

In 2024, Walu had to leave Uganda because of political circumstances and begin a new chapter in Germany. At Boxwerk Munich, he found his way back into coaching and to the work that has always mattered most to him: helping the next generation see what is possible.

Walu’s Corner

Taking the work further.

Walu’s Corner is where Coach Walu’s work with young people in Munich can grow.

It creates more opportunities to train regularly, develop over time and stay connected to the sport.

For some, boxing may simply become an important part of their life.

For others, it may open the door to competition.
